Roaming the vacuous canyon of stores, I noticed a bridal gown in the window of a shop that was being remodeled. The dress was beautiful: White silk with a pleated bodice and an occasional tear drop shaped pearl sewn randomly to the skirt itself. It was a Vera Wang. Of course, who else could design a gown so simply yet so magnificently? As I stared at that dress I thought to myself: You know, there is a quilt in there. Thus, my wedding quilt was born: two off-white fabrics, pleated and embellished with off-white, round, single hole, shell buttons affixed with small, round, cream colored pearls. A quilt inspired by Vera Wang. The finished quilt is 52" x 64 1/4". This pattern is available as a download only. This is a file that can be printed out by virtually everyone.
